The Arizona Snowbowl is located in the Coconino National Forest on the majestic San Francisco Peaks. High above Flagstaff, the Snowbowl opened in 1938 and is one of the oldest continually run ski areas in the United States. Snowbowl has a great history of entertaining all ability levels of skiers and snowboarders. Snowbowl has the best learning terrain in the entire southwest, offering over 50 acres and two chairlifts in the renowned Hart Prairie Beginner Area - This is Where Arizona Learns to Ski and Snowboard. Intermediate and advanced snow riders will enjoy many challenging trails with over 2,300 feet of vertical drop.
Snowbowl caters to the family experience by offering lessons in a private or group setting. Kids can enjoy our popular SKIwee or Ridge Runner programs that emphasize having fun while learning to ski or snowboard.

• 32 scenic alpine trails
• Sunset Terrain Park
• Four chair lifts
• Average season: mid-December to mid-April
• Average snowfall: 260 inches
• Two day-lodges – each with a restaurant, bar, first aid and sport shop
• Lodging available at Ski Lift Lodge & Cabins

Directions: The Arizona Snowbowl is located in the Coconino National Forest seven miles northwest of Flagstaff, Arizona. From
Flagstaff, simply follow the Highway 180 signs to Grand Canyon, turn right (north) on Snowbowl Road and you are there!
